Celebratory 5k Event Image

Celebrate With Us!

We all belong at the starting line.

First-timers, experts, adults, youth – the Girls on the Run Celebratory 5K is better when we come together. From start to finish, our programs foster an environment where all girls are welcome, and the same applies to the Celebratory 5K.

Throughout our spring season, girls united as a team to set goals, learn new life skills, build confidence, and more.  And now, it’s time for us to follow our girls’ lead and celebrate these achievements together as a community.

GOTR Spokane Board Member Tony’s Boston Marathon Purpose

Hello friends and family!

I’m heading off to run the Boston Marathon on April 15th! This is a long-time goal of mine, so I wanted to do something special to make this race truly worthwhile. I’m excited to share that I was one of only 40 people nationwide selected to be a part of the Girls on the Run National SoleMates Team, supported by Fleet Feet. This means I’ve committed to fundraise $1,200 to benefit my local Girls on the Run council.

Registration for the Celebratory 5k is Now Open!

At Girls on the Run of Spokane County, we're excited to announce that registration for our Celebratory 5k is officially open! This event is the culmination of our 10-week program, where girls in grades 3-5 learn important life skills such as confidence, teamwork, and positive self-image while training for the 5k. We invite all families, friends, and supporters to join us in celebrating the girls' achievements on this special day.
